Service Description
What this service provides
ASAM 2.1, commonly known as Intensive Outpatient Program or IOP, provides a more structured treatment schedule for individuals with substance use and co-occurring needs while allowing them to remain in the community.
The program may include group therapy, individual counseling, recovery education, treatment planning, drug screening when appropriate, case management coordination, and discharge planning.
